What to expect during your service:

Every stretch session is unique, but here’s a general overview of the steps involved:

Before you arrive

Wear (or bring) comfortable clothes that will allow you to move and stretch freely during your session. If desired, you can also warm up your muscles beforehand with some light exercise or a warm bath or shower.

Filling us in

When you arrive, you’ll fill out an intake form to indicate any medical history, injuries, or physical conditions your stretch provider should be aware of. (This step is important, so it’s best to arrive 15 minutes early to allow yourself enough time.)

Establishing your goals

Your stretch provider will go over your intake form with you and together you’ll discuss the goals you’re hoping to achieve with your stretch session. This will help them make personalized service and enhancement recommendations focused on delivering the results you need.

During your stretch session

You can talk with your stretch provider as much, or as little, as you wish – but you’re always free to provide feedback on the intensity, techniques, or any discomfort that you might be feeling. Your provider may coach your breathing to sync it with the stretches and offer other instructions to help ensure your session meets your needs.

Wrapping things up

When your stretch session is complete, your provider will offer you a glass of water and guide you to the front desk (it’s important to stay hydrated after your session). They may also offer recommendations for future services to continue your self-care journey.

Not sure whether a Relief Stretch service is exactly what you need?

It’s important to note that you’re never limited to the parameters of one particular concern. You might primarily need to have your stretch provider focus on easing tension in your neck, shoulders, and upper back, but also want to relax. They can always personalize your service with elements from multiple types to ensure that it’s focused on the results you want.
