"When I started university, I wanted to be a nurse. But after gaining a little work experience, I realized that I could be finished with school and helping people sooner as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). Later, I thought I might want to go back to nursing school, but my career as an LMT has been so gratifying that I have decided I am happy where I am."
I bet some of you came to a career in massage therapy in a similar way, thinking it was a short-term job before you moved on to something else. But I’m here to tell you that massage therapy can be a career for the long-term if you take care of yourself.
