Reflexology massage

Sometimes the path to whole-body relief starts at your hands and feet. Reflexology massage applies specialized techniques and attention to specific areas and points on the feet and hands, and even the ears, helping to promote overall well-being.

So much more than just a foot massage

Although commonly associated with foot massage, reflexology involves much more. This specialized technique is based on the premise that specific points on the feet, hands, and ears are connected to organs and systems throughout the body.

By applying focused pressure to these areas, your therapist can help promote balance. Your sessions may focus entirely on reflexology but can also incorporate Swedish massage techniques to further promote relaxation and relief.

Health info to keep in mind

When to avoid

Reflexology can be the go-to if you’re unable to receive traditional massage for various health concerns or complications. That said, avoid reflexology if you have blood clots, thrombosis, bone fractures, open wounds, or active gout. Those with diabetes, heart conditions, or who are pregnant should consult their doctor before booking. If you have limitations with your feet, reflexology on the hands may still be an option.1
